- State Government of Karnataka has limit the number of Guests in all gatherings, meeting, conferences, etc. Maximum 500 people only can participate in these programs. All these people must follow COVID appropriate behaviour during the event and organizers will be responsible to enforce all these guidelines.
- As of now all cultural activities/fests and functions cannot be organized in schools and colleges till January 15, 2022.
- Parents of children below 18 years, who use to school or college with them must have taken both of the COVID vaccine doses.
- Compulsory testing of health workers and senior citizens (those above 65 years) and persons with comorbidities will be undertaken by the government.

- People must have to wear mask to prevent the corona cases. BBMP, district authorities and local authorities shall impose fine of Rs 250 in Municipal Corporation Areas and Rs 100 in other areas if any person found violating such rules.
- There shall be intensive containment (micro containment measures) and active surveillance in clusters/areas reporting higher cases to contain the spread locally.
- Strict surveillance at the border posts set up by the districts adjoining Kerala and Maharashtra states shall continue as per the prevailing circular/guidelines issued by Department of Health and Family Welfare.
- COVID-19 tests for all the residents of and staff of students hostels have also been made mandatory.
